UNPAID DEBT
On 22nd February 2017, Stephanie Bennett of Hardy's Barn, The Lane, Langford, Glos, GL7 3LF ( also know as Steph Bennett) signed a contract with Planet Tribute Ltd for the hire of a Dolly Parton Trio for 15th July 2017.
On 9th July 2017, ie with only 7 days notice, Stephanie Bennett e mailed to say the event was cancelled.
The cancellation terms of the contract are clear that 100% of the fee is due on caneclleation within 28 days of show ( less expenses)
Despite approximately 10 attempts to contact Ms Bennett via e mail and phone, no money has been forthcoming and it appears she is avoiding paying any cancellation fee, leaving our singer and musicians at a financial loss as several other shows were turned down to keep the act free for Steph Bennett's event..
Stephanie Bennett of Hardy's Barn, Langford owes Planet Tribute Ltd £613.44 and this webpage will stay up until this is paid in full.
In the meantime anyone finding this page whilst searching for Stephanie Bennett of Hardy's Barn may want to consider getting 100% payment upfront for any future events etc.

2. This contract represents written confirmation of a prior verbal agreement and no signatures are required to bring it into force. As such, non-signature is not sufficient to cancel this agreement.
3. Cancellation of this contract is subject to a minimum charge of 20% of the total fee, rising to 100% if cancelled within 28 days of the engagement (less reasonable travel expenses). See over for more details.
Cancellation
1. Should the Contract need to be cancelled by the Client, the deposit is non refundable and the following conditions apply:
(a) written notification must be received at least 56 days prior to the performance and 20% of the fee to be paid ( or deposit kept) , or (b) written notification must be received at least 28 days prior to the performance and 50% of the fee to be paid, or
(c) written notification received less than 28 days prior to the performance incurs 100% of the fee to be paid. Travel expenses are taken off cancellation fees and calculated at 16p/m
